Major depression- prolonged feelings of worthlessness, guilt, disruption of eating, sleep, slowing of behavior, frequent thoughts of suicide. Over their lifetime, 30% of people will experience a major depressive episode. Higher in northern climates, suggests a relationship between vitamin d and depression.
