Designing and analyzing jobs: job design- matter of organizing duties and activities related to an employee, job analysis- what do they need in order to successfully complete this job. 6 steps of job analysis: identify what the information will be used for, review relevant background information. What have you done in the past when you did the job analysis, who conducted them, did the upper management implement actions based on the analysis and the industry expectations are reviewed. Select what job you are analyzing: select job to be analyzed, analyze the jobs questionnaires. How you are going to analyze the job: by observation, surveys or: review analysis with incumbent/ supervisor. Review the analysis with the supervisor and the person being organized to ensure that all the necessary responsibilities have been covered and everything included is correct: develop job description/ job specifications.
