Even after the world is so different from the one. It must be providing something for us based on the popularity of various fantasy novels now. Some desire to understand what is good and what is evil. Fantasy tends to be looked down upon, especially in comparison to other genres. Well if it is a popular genre it must have something for us, so really the hierarchy doesn"t exist. Escapism escape literature an escape from the real world yes. But there will also be elements that deal with real world topics. As human beings, we are hardwired for stories, they have always been and always will be. We invented this thing called story, art, representation.
