Gender identity: a person"s conscious sense of maleness and/or femaleness, this sense of self is separate and distinct from biological sex. Cisgender: refers to a person whose biological sex assigned at birth matches their gender identity. Transgender: refers to a person whose biological sex assigned at birth does not matches their gender identity. Transsexual: refers to a person whose biological sex assigned at birth does not matches their gender identity, people who decide to undergo medical transition. Cross dresser: refers to someone who identifies with and personifies the opposite sex in their gender presentation for emotional satisfaction and psychological well-being. Not necessarily linked to erotic activity nor it is indicative of sexual orientation. Intersexed: refers to a person whose biological/anatomical sex is outside conventional classification of male or female, due to genetic, hormonal, and or anatomical variations.
