Must have a male that is double better than you for it to be worth it to convert to a scrounger. Trapping easily means willing to risk easy to gain food. Found that animals did worse reprod when they took more risk when acrons were highly available. Easy to catch 1 yr will be easy to catch next year. These are continuous expression not just 1 or 0. More members of a group = less risk.
