Media- refers to any form of communication that targets a mass audience in print of electronic format. The media defines social problems and shapes public debates, indicating which people and issue we should be concerned about and why. Within the media we see morality and ethics in action. Stigmatized others- presented as threats to the way of life of decent people. Advertising- when people are repeatedly exposed to a particular advertisements, their brand recognition increases, they develop positive associations with those brands, and they subsequently wish to purchase those specific products.
