Concerns about homogenizaion of culture; americanizaion of culture. So if a country isn"t progressing, the problem isn"t with the system, it is the people within the system who are at fault. Rostow reason countries can"t move forward is because they aren"t cultured. So if we civilize them and drag them into 19th century, they might prevail. Underdeveloped states must abandon tradiional ways of thinking and acing. Marx called rostow and idiot because he would say that not all countries would have access to resources. States that embrace capitalism and the entrepreneurial mentality will prosper.
