Role of the family in socializing a child cannot be underestimated, family socializes you into what you become later in life. Religion - family provides religious grounding or foundation on a particular religion and embarks certain religious values, morals and beliefs. Manners - how your family taught you to behave in a certain way. Birth order - your role in the family. Language - the language taught in your family and the way you speak it: you call your mom to tell her you scored really low on your exam to relieve the sad news.
