Genetic relatedness among different type of relationship: monozygotic (100% because the same egg split into to after being fertilized, dizygotic: two eggs that are fertilized at the same time by two different sperms (50% related, parents + children: 50, sibling: grandparents: 25, uncle and niece and half siblings: 25, both share the same grandparent, both share the great grandparent. Thus no one else does anything: most pronounced under the condition of anonymity (increase anonymity=increase diffusion, when we don"t know the victim=increase diffusion, the bystander don"t know each other=increase diffusion, deciding how to help/providing help (but we might not know how to help someone, might be scary, we might make the victim worse, afraid of lawsuit(cid:224) but now we have good smarten laws, audience inhibition: reluctance to help for making a bad impression on observer ( the norm to mind your own business.
