Higher life expectancy better lives for some people, and not for some. These injustices have significant impacts on peoples ability to be healthy and stay healthy. This world is where i live and i have an. Is aware of the wider world, an engaged citizen. Recognizes that these are systematic injustices that affect peoples; countries; continents unfarily. Contributes to the community at a local and global level and acts on social injustice. Has a willingness to make the world a more sustainable and equitable place and takes responsibility for their own actions. Global citizenship doesn"t privilege the global over the local, but recognizes the interconnectedness between the local and the global. Eg. basic needs in africa is equivalent to obesity problems in canada. the root might even be the same.
