Evidence-informed practice building upon the foundation of evidence-based practice, evidence informed practice also involves acknowledging and considering the myriad factors beyond such evidence as local indigenous knowledge, cultural and religious norms, and clinical judgements. The evidence also incorporates expert opinion, clinical expertise, patient preference, and other resources.
