By the end of this lecture, nursing 305 students will be able to: Summarize roles and responsibilities of the registered nurse and explain where health assessment fits. Reflect on the cna code of ethics (2008) and relate it to their own professional development. Outline what basic knowledge development for registered nursing. Identify strategies that facilitate and hinder therapeutic communication. Describe the components of a health history and the planning and sequencing of a health history.
