Enables you to discern what is most important in any situation. Work bw what you know and what you don"t know. Purposely looking at self and values and at people you work with and their relationship and the space bw. How are we interacting, how are they interacting. Where you are, what is around you, what"s the story. Different ppl will interpret based on their own locations and concerns. Contextual: everybody has own context (where they are, how that influences how you live, etc) Focuses on power, oppression, culture, economic conditions of life, social change, emancipation. Examine broad social structures, inequities, power dynamics, language operate.
