In sectors like fine arts, retail, trade, manufacturing, Native political organizations and bands continue to battle for greater control over economic activities. Traditional indigenous economies were based on their ecological context. Everything was done in respect to creation; sustainable ways = resources replenish. They only extracted what was needed by their community. Traded surpluses to neighboring communities thus developing kinships/relationships.
