Ab forest industry: manufactures diverse product stream (such as pulp, lumber, newsprint, engineered wood products), third largest manufacturing sector, provides employment, taxation to 50 rural communities in ab. Considers factors such as forest industry, growth rates, changes to reserved areas, regeneration success, natural mortality impacts of re: disposal/allocation, crown charges, restrictions on export of crown timber. The idea behind them is that they are evergreen, the company always has a 20 year deal in place.
