Put order into chaos, so we can function. Shares many views with / associated with culture. Worldviews must be shared, learn from others of that social group and share it amongst each other. Adaptive, can be modified or reconstructed over time, as humans continue to adapt to dif environments. A form of thought and language that asserts a meaningful like between two expressions from different semantic domains. Tool to try to convey a broader and deeper message of what we mean.
