Shapes who we are and how we are. How does your eye see the world (visual) World view an encompassing picture of reality created by members of a society. Worldviews originated from creation stories or myths. Everyone has a worldview (may or may not be conscious about it) There are many people who still believe the earth is flat (different view of the world) A way for people to make sense of their world. Put order into chaos, so we can function. Shares many views with / associated with culture. Worldviews must be shared, learn from others of that social group and share it amongst each other. Adaptive, can be modified or reconstructed over time, as humans continue to adapt to dif environments. A form of thought and language that asserts a meaningful like between two expressions from different semantic domains. Tool to try to convey a broader and deeper message of what we mean.
