Karl marx, emilie durkheim, max weber believed that: Society is an object of study, must be treated similar to the natural sciences. We aren"t concerned with economics, we want to know the social consequences because of the economic system. Social impacts of waged labour system (capitalism) Competition over scarcity of work leads to exploitation of workers.
