Forth component: concept of distinctive (sense among the members of the group that the(cid:455)(cid:859)re distinct from others) Ethnic group- a group who, as a result of their shared cultural traits and a high level of interaction, regard themselves and are regarded as a cultural unit. As a society, we associate ethnicity with cultural factors. Race has been understood as having more to do with biology, rather than cultural traits.
