Neurodevelopmental disorder (dsm-5: something diferent neurologically, developmental because it appears very early on. Incorporates: auism (higher), asperger"s disorder (least extreme), cdd (higher), Pdd-nos (criteria isn"t enirely met but most of it is) One condiions with difering severity considered a spectrum. Ret"s disorder (geneic syndrome) removed from dsm-5 : can be traced to a very speciic mutaion within the gene disintegraion that almost always leads to death. Three levels of severity (based on support required like id: mild, moderate, severe. Iniiate few social behaviour seem to lack understanding of people as social partners. But they do form atachments they are just atypical, diferent social interacions with them. Comparable rates of secure atachment: quality of atachment contributes to play behaviour important for social skills.
