Second: how he represents his health, health rendered him helpless > feminization of him (see dropsy above), he is powerless and under control of nature. Third: fielding"s own disassociation with his world, passengers are treated terribly, compared to luggage, slaves on the ship, realizes people can be rendered helpless bynature and customs.
