Inexpressible important word because werther is always trying to express himself. A man of sensibility feeling the senses. Soon i should be master of the garden . Always longing for something that is beyond his reach. Longing for nature is almost like a death wish suicidal, complete loss: very poetic sense, longs to extend this unity of nature with society. Speaking of a spring right outside of town. Something timeless about the scene how he sees nature. The more he is in nature the less he can paint it. More difficult to represent something when you are completely fussed with it. Breathing onto the paper: longing for unity with nature and society.
