Its more than just going to the various religious events, but more how you are raised in your jewish family and how it informs you to adulthood, and includes the religious part. If one of your parents is a jewish person, you are a jewish person. You can believe what you want as long as it follows the torah. Its not so much what you believe but about acion. Covenant abraham that followed the bloodline so you have that part inside of you and the blood promise. Following gods law is our life long promise and duty. You are bound by blood to live in a moral, ethical, and intelligent way. You pass on to your children through your blood line to live that way as well. 5000 years of demonstraing the blood promise of gods law.
