Marker is looking for depth (rather than breadth) Observe and then explain the observation in terms of course concepts and theories. But also think: is this observation a good illustration of the concepts? . Example: parent helping kid put the backpack on a hook. Make sure your observation is a good example of the theory you"re discussing. The two citations you use should bring in something new. Don"t use a citation just to define something that the textbook already defines. But you can use citations from the textbook that go into more detail about how a certain concept or theory works. Can write it like a paper, magazine article, or something in between. Apa format, but no abstract, cover page.
