Parents reinforce child"s utterances & associate objects with words. Children produce sentences they have never heard and that have never been reinforced. E. g. , i bought a candy i buyed a candy. disagreed with skinner, believed language is innate already have an understanding. The language that is spoken in one"s culture affects how one perceives the world.
