Mediator variables: mediator variables provide a causal link in explaining the process by which the iv inluences the dv. Factor: somehow porn leads to some other factor, and then that other factor leads to inidelity. Moderator variables: a moderator variable inluences the direcion and/or strength of the relaionship between two variables. For example, video game and aggression, the funcion will change based on unemoional traits. While video games causes aggression, by raising unemoional traits, aggression goes up. Deining variables: conceptual deiniion, general understanding of what something means. Operaional deiniions deine a variable in terms of the procedures used to measure or manipulate it.
