Document Summary
The article by rosenthal & jacobson (1966), is a study based on a theory from previous study in order to support the theory which was indicated that the expectancy can be a factor of response in behavioral research. This study was carried out in respect with the flanagan nonverbal intelligence. It was based on testing the skills of the students which are not school learned. It examined a child"s vocabulary and other aspects to test the intelligence of people who are away from academically related elements. The hypothesis in this study was that the identified students would show a more significant change in intelligence at the end of eight months. This test was administered to elementary school students and their teachers where students were sampled randomly within the six available grades children were selected as either performing low, average or above average. Only 20% of the students in each class were involved in the experiment.
