Disorder, such as the vandalism of a building(cid:495)s windows if left unrepaired, leads to more serious crime in the area. Violence is more likely to occur when alcohol and drugs mix with loud music and bravado. Control bar entrances, exit and immediate surroundings. The prevalence of dating violence is difficult to estimate. Those whose peers have also been victimized. Tourists are lucrative targets, likely to be relaxed and off guard, and are less likely to report the crime. Victimizations that occur in leisure settings often go unreported.
