Everyone is predated by established discourses in which various subjectivities are represented already. General discourse meaning that is produced/shaped by existing social, historical, and institutional formations. Speci c discourses site for contestation of socially established sense, ideological struggle between discourses (i. e. feminism vs. patriarchy); one conversation/discussion/challenge within the already produced and established general discourse.
