Important to distinguish between unethical and ethical; as well as legal and illegal. Breaking the law in a totalitarian regime in order to carry out: ethical and legal, ethical and illegal humanitarian efforts, unethical and illegal. Cooking the books to make a company"s financial situation look better that it really is. Ethical judgement is also complicated by the fact that practices that are legal in one country may not be legal in another. Everyone develops his/her own code of ethics : we also develop values and morals that influence our behaviour.
