Bridging crips and bloods and race and sports. Crt (critical race theory): the blake male body has historically been an emasculated one in the us (social emasculations) their natural positions within their family and communities. Crips and bloods: reflect on their relationship to self, violence, crime, self-determination and mobility. Reese (cid:523)(cid:884)(cid:882)(cid:882)(cid:888)(cid:524): undermining (cid:498)the socio-cultural integrity of black men by limiting their ability to assume. Stigma theory: a connection to deviance produces a stigma: a negative label that compromises one"s self. Master status: overlooking one"s whole identity and focusing on only the deviance discredits and isolates the stigmatized. They are arguably less individualized, crips first, bloods first then their identity. Color-blindness: formal and informal conceptions of equality, expressed in rules that insist only on treatment that is the same across the board.
