Culture (social and moral regulation) meets people"s individual experiences, both interact to shape what you do in sex, the acts you perform, and the partners you choose. Sex and sexuality is learned and produced within a culturally specific context. I have a body reaction : that is an entire social construction. As time goes on, who you choose and who your attracted to changes. Nothing innate or natural about sexual acts: western philosophies on sex, religious: prior 1850, all discourse was religious chritian discourse, everything based on the concept of religion, in the middleages- had power even over monarchs. This production of knowledge and information was disseminated by the church, everything explained (even in judaism, islam, protestantism) , use concept of fear and superstition, including sexuality. Expect a kid 9 months from that day (this is the purpose of marriage) Monogamy is a recent concept: came with the dying down of the catholic church.
