Don"t even think of it as domination because it"s so normalized in our society. In free market best ideas = most successful. Marxists would wonder what the choices are and how varied are they and who"s controlling this production and distribution of these ias. Meida as the opiate of the masses we are consuming. Consuming representations supportive of capitalism (freedom, consumerism) Contemporary media analysis suggests the main commodity in media is us. Little separation between capitalism & it"s liberalism and media logic.
