Don"t want to be challenged in beliefs bc uncomfy: don"t want to be vulnerable; defence mechanisms. Logic-chopper- attends to logic not the real issues. Bc they think about it in the abstract, instead of tuning into the human side. Pleasing: in the jury, the guy with the big classes isn"t smart but it seems like he wants to make ppl laugh and relax. When it comes to making decisions, he can"t. Aim at logic-chopping - tending to the logic instead of the human sides of things. Aims at having a dialogue, not at dominating. Aims to find the truth vs. winning. Aims at positive discussions, not just finding problems with others. Good listener; works to understand: not afraid of finding oneself to be wrong. Open to learning own biases, and challenging them. Not supposing you already know (not having hubris)
