Empowerment: enhance the possibility that people can actively control or mastery their lives, community psychologists works best when it is responsive to grassroots approaches. Focus is on provision of resources not treatment. Multidisciplinary approaches: a group across disciplines but often across workplaces, academics and community organizations. Recognizes both the social and physical environment people are in.
