Muller-lyer effect: one line looks longer, even though both lines are the same length, our mind thinks the line with the arrows out looks extended. Ebbinghaus-titchner illusion: we think a circle is larger when surrounded by little circles, and a circle looks smaller when surrounded by bigger circles.
