If you check 5 cows, you can say: at least some canadian cows are safe . If you check all cows, you can say: all canadian cows are safe . If you check 10,000 randomly selected cows, you can say: it"s highly likely that canadian cows are safe : even good enumerative induction can go wrong, we"ve looked at 10,000 randomly selected cows across canada.
