Document Summary
For the ancient greeks, they took seriously the idea that there are forms of expertise. In order for there to be a genuine expertise, there has to be something in reality that opens up the possibility of the expertise. As reality is set up, it opens up a need for care. Humans can study those problems associated with the body (how health works) and a body of expertise arises because of that gap that"s been cared for by the nature of reality. If your body gets ill, it makes sense that it gets ill we can understand the principles behind such that we can diagnose certain illnesses and offer cures ect. Whether we"re experts or not in terms of the body, we all have our ideas and we do things that we think are good. We are resorting to experts when it comes to making our decisions.
