Nse 11 winter week 2: the nursing process and the roy adaptation model. The nursing process: assist in critical thinking, guideline for data collection and care planning, organize work, assist with documentation of clients" need and plan of care. The nursing process is not: a conceptual framework, a theory, a model of care, a standard for the profession. Expected outcomes: evaluation: looking at achievement of outcomes to determine the effectiveness of interventions. The roy adaptation model the six steps: assessment of behaviour (adaptive or ineffective), assessment of stimuli, nursing diagnosis, goal setting.
