Evaluating decision outcomes more effectively: 1 make sure people evaluating the decision are different from the people who made the decision. 2 set a public limit where the decision will be abandoned. 3 find a source of systematic and clear feedback. 4 allow several people in the evaluation. Creativity: development of original ideas that make a socially recognized contribution. Creativity is used to assist all stages of team decision making. We put the problem aside, but our mind is still thinking about it in the background. Incubation does not mean you forget about the problem, low-level awareness. Incubation assists divergent thinking reframing a problem in a unique way and generating different approaches to the issue (velcro example). Calculating the conventionally accepted right answer to a logical problem. Convergent thinking does not improve any part of the creative process. Illumination (insight): experience of suddenly becoming aware of a unique idea.
