Reward- ability to control placement of rewards wanted by others and taking out of unwanted ones. Coercive- ability to apply punishment (ex. peer pressure) Expert power- capacity to influence others by possessing knowledge or skills that they value. Referent power- when others identify with, like, or otherwise respect the person. Take out competitors who can"t self support for resources. Degree and nature of interdependence between powerholder and others.
