Case study wearable computers change how we work. Wearable computing, such as smartwatches and smart glasses, are changing the way jobs are being done. In 2015, a report surveying 2,400 u. s cios from robert half technology, an it staffing firm, states that 81% expect (smart) watches and glasses to become common in the workplace. By delivering information to workers without interrupting their tasks, wearable devices are empowering employees to make quick and informed decisions while improving productivity. Another device includes smartwatches, used by warehouse managers to capture real time performance for better management distribution and operations. Although shareholders are the main consumers of smartwatches like the apple watch, stakeholders are also using them to be more productive. By taking phone calls and displaying the notifications on your wrist using subtle vibrations, buzzing loudly and being distracting during meetings is no longer an issue.
