Legiimate power: organizaional posiion or status confers the right to control those in subordinate posiions. Personal power: based on the unique personal qualiies that a person brings to the leadership situaions. Expert power: capacity to inluence others because of one"s knowledge and skills. Referent power: capacity to inluence others because they admire you and want to idenify posiively with you. Visionary leadership: a leader who brings to the situaion a clear and compelling sense of the future as well as an understanding of the acions needed to get there successfully. Transacional leadership: someone who directs the eforts of others through tasks, rewards, and structure. Transformaional leadership: someone who is truly inspiraional as a leader and who arouses others to seek extraordinary performance accomplishments. The ability of people to manage themselves and their relaionships efecively.
