Fate of nations depends on choice of foods. Cuisine has to be based on what a country can produce on their onw. Wonderful nature of produce and cuisine that derives from it. Baguette yeast, flour, water, salt -> baked fresh. All countries have particular cuisines: jacobs: french food is the creation of mad men for the delectation of fools (a cuisine that is over complex, over finicky) It has been said that chinese have no food taboo. Brightson: observation of chinese use of chop sticks: isn"t it odd that people is genius enough to invent paper/gun powder/kite long noble history but haven"t figured out a pair of knitting needles is not good for consuming food. No major cuisine that is more maligned (wide spread) than british food. There"s over 60 religions in england but only one sauce. With respect to canadian food, original cuisine is connected with aboriginal people, connected with native people.
