Document Summary
Offset - printing process that is based on repulsion of water and oil is planographic. The inked image is offset from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. Commonly used for large volume and quality production, but often requires near line or offline finishing. Wide range of printable products, from low cost heat set newsprint to high end limited edition books and publications. Inks may be oil-based, uv curable or led curable.
