Went to a fashion show and became friends with models, got contacts and met up with them. introduced her to stylists, makeup artists, etc. Festival of canadian fashion -> got a booth sold to every province to boutiques and a couple from the usa. Black monday occurred and back to fantail problems. Friend was working for a lm company and needed a jacket made name started getting around in the lm industry this custom work taught her to make clothing for real bodies (not working with a perfect body) Museum curator stopped by her store and connected her patterns with old fashion wear. Asked if she would do a fashion show or exhibition. Documentary done on her work , award won for it. other museums are going to be covering what she does. Fashion in cities: new york, london, milan, paris (the big four)
