Mubicipal goc has a lot of inpact of local afairs. Its impact locally is felt most in transfer of money. Their responsibility entails the creaion of municipal govs. If the province wanted to abolish any mubicpal govs they could do it but theyre responsible for it. Municipal council has 2 main aspects or funcions: the municipal funcion. The council regulates the conduct of the pop by means of local by-laws: the provincial funcion. Where the municipal council acts as the provincial govts agent to carry out provincial laws in its territory. Regional municipaliies: townships, villages, towns, ciies, separated towns. An oicial plan is not intended to deal with details, but with general principles.
