Asking question of the text (start with simple ones) Association of the wolf with men - men being aggressors. Common animal found among (northern) europe that would prey surrounding forests. Wolf is something all listeners are all familiar with despite little red being unaware - creates suspense. Easily influenced/distracted - wolf telling her that her grandma would like flowers so she leaves the path. Innocence should be preserved; they should not be exposed to that behaviour. We make our children when we makes books for them . Shaping a child by the stories we read to them. Wolf tricks little red into eating grandmother"s flesh and drinking her blood. Cat comes by and calls her a slut for eating the flesh. Little red tricks the wolf in the end. Or actually making cables because it takes a long time. Slightly older protagonist than in the story we know now. The path of maturing from a child to womanhood.
