We just see it as one truth and to disrupt that we need to recognize it- Power of the process of mental health literacy- fully formed in society with three elements: how mental health looks like. How we have come to work the medical model- significant, we are producing cultural practices- significant and sever effects- Madness is something we need to treat is medical model. Mental health is not value neutral- it is faulty knowledge- We are convinced is a truth but is not proven. A social perspective- mad studies- an emergent field of studies. Mad studies- never about fixing the person- it is looking at the structures that are oppressing the person- how it upholds the person, impact how the issue unpacks the system-
