A strong alternative to the system we currently have. It is a collaborative discussion and the key is that it brings different stakeholders together. It brings together the victim and the offender as well as other people such as representatives of the community. The focus of bringing these stakeholders together is to create a dialogue between parties with the end goal repairing the damage, both literally and figuratively: ex somebody"s house is vandalized.
