Logographic orthographies: from pictogram to ideogram to logogram. Sun and moon used in chinese script over time turned into logograms from the original drawing of them: horse in chinese history changed so much over time from the shang dynasty to modern day china. Conceptual organization: morphosemantics and phonosemantics: feature of basic concepts incorporated into different symbols.
